A sound table in massage therapy is a unique table that uses audio technology to deliver vibrations and sound waves to the body during a massage session. The table is equipped with transducer speakers that create low-frequency vibrations and sound designed to enhance the therapeutic effects of massage. External speakers on both sides of the table provide the mid-range and high frequencies to complete the sound spectrum. The immersive experience allows clients to relax, drift, and let go.

This type of massage can involve a variety of different sensory stimuli, such as touch, sound, scent, and visual cues, to create a more immersive and relaxing experience for the client. For example, the massage therapist might use essential oils to create a pleasant aroma, play soft music or nature sounds, and use warm towels or hot stones to provide additional sensory input. The goal of a multi-sensory massage is to help the client achieve a deeper state of relaxation and promote healing by engaging multiple senses and reducing stress and anxiety. This type of massage can be particularly beneficial for individuals who have difficulty relaxing or who are dealing with chronic pain or other health conditions.

We are located in the downtown Maplewood historic district sharing the 2nd floor with Shanti Yoga.

We require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Late cancels will be charged 50% of the massage. Exceptions include being sick, family emergencies, and car accidents.

A deep tissue massage can help relieve chronic pain, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and increase mobility. It can also help break up scar tissue and adhesions, which can contribute to muscle tension and pain.

Myofascial release is a type of manual therapy that involves applying gentle pressure and stretching to the body's connective tissue (fascia). Fascia surrounds and supports the muscles, bones, and organs and can become tight and restricted due to injury, stress, or poor posture. Myofascial release aims to alleviate pain and improve mobility by releasing these restrictions and restoring the natural movement of the fascia. Anyone can benefit from myofascial release, but it helps individuals who experience pain or stiffness in the muscles and joints or have limited mobility due to injury or chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia or arthritis. It is also beneficial for athletes who want to improve their performance and reduce the risk of injury and individuals who spend long hours sitting or standing in the same position.
